Comfortable, closed walking shoes. Cobblestones and uneven surfaces throughout. You may need to remove shoes at sacred sites — easy slip-ons are ideal.

“Three hours through Chandni Chowk with a curator born 200 metres from Jama Masjid.”
This is a guide — your curator moves at the pace of the people around them. If a conversation begins, the walk waits.
Comfortable, closed walking shoes. Cobblestones and uneven surfaces throughout. You may need to remove shoes at sacred sites — easy slip-ons are ideal.
Modest clothing — covered shoulders and knees — for mosques and temples. Scarves available from your curator. Light, breathable fabrics recommended.
Indian mornings can be cold Nov–Feb. Bring a light jacket. Summer walks are warm even at 6am. Monsoon walks are atmospheric — expect occasional rain.
Photography is welcome on the walk. Inside religious sites, ask your curator before photographing worshippers. Vendors are accustomed to respectful photography.
This walk involves ~3km on uneven terrain and some stairs. Not suitable for wheelchairs. Guests with limited mobility — contact us for a shorter variant.
Children aged 8+ thoroughly enjoy this walk. Under 8 are free. Curators are brilliant with young walkers — they carry extra biscuits. Strollers are not practical.
Most tastings are vegetarian. Please mention allergies (nuts, gluten, dairy) during booking — your curator will arrange alternatives at every stop personally.
Arrive 5 minutes before start time. Pre-opening access at landmarks is fixed — late arrivals may miss the first stop. Your curator will call if you're late.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the walk. Same-day cancellations receive a 50% credit. We almost never cancel for weather — the city in rain is extraordinary.
